Please read these terms carefully before entering. By entering the prize draw, you agree to be bound by these conditions.
1. T H E P R O M O T E R
This prize draw is run by Path & Pine Hideaways (“the promoter”). The promoter’s decision is final in all matters relating to the draw, and no correspondence will be entered into.
2. E L I G I B I L I T Y
The prize draw is open to individuals aged 18 or over, worldwide. Please note that travel to and from the property is not included in the prize; international entrants are responsible for all associated travel costs.
The following are not eligible to enter: employees, contractors, or anyone else directly involved in the running of Path & Pine Hideaways, or members of their immediate household.
3. H O W T O E N T E R
The giveaway runs quarterly. There are two ways to enter:
Newsletter subscription
Subscribe to the Path & Pine Hideaways newsletter mailing list. One entry is granted per subscriber. Your entry is only valid for the duration that you remain subscribed; if you unsubscribe before the draw takes place, your entry will be void.
Social media (where advertised)
Additional entries may be available via the promoter’s Facebook and/or Instagram pages. Details of what constitutes a valid social media entry (for example, tagging a friend in a post) will be stated in the relevant post. Each qualifying tag counts as one additional entry. Social media entries are supplementary to, and not a replacement for, newsletter subscription; a valid social media entry requires that you are also a current newsletter subscriber at the time of the draw. The promoter may ask for your email address to verify this. Social media entries are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or administered by Meta (Facebook or Instagram).
There is no limit on the number of entries a person may accumulate across both channels, provided each entry meets the above conditions.
4. T H E D R AW
One winner will be selected per draw. The draw is conducted by the promoter by assigning a number to each valid entry and selecting a winner using an online random number generator. The draw takes place after the closing date for each quarterly giveaway. Previous winners are eligible to enter future draws.
5. T H E P R I Z E
Unless otherwise stated, the prize is a 2-night self-catering stay for up to 2 guests at the Path & Pine Hideaways Shepherd’s Hut, subject to availability.
– The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
– Travel to and from the property is not included.
– The stay must be booked by the winner directly on the Path & Pine Hideaways website using the voucher code provided.
– The prize is valid for 3 months from the date of winner notification. Where no suitable available dates fall within the validity window, the promoter reserves the right to extend this period at their discretion.
– The following dates are excluded from the prize offer: the weekends of the Braemar Gathering and Ballater Games, and the Christmas period (21 December – 2 January inclusive).
6. W I N N E R N O T I F I C AT I O N & C L A I M I N G T H E P R I Z E
The winner will be contacted by the promoter shortly after the draw closes, via email or social media message as applicable. The winner must respond within 7 days of notification to confirm receipt of the prize. If no response is received within this period, the prize will be withdrawn and the promoter reserves the right to redraw.
By entering, winners agree that the promoter may share their name and/or social media handle publicly if they win.
7. D ATA & P R I VA C Y
Personal data submitted as part of entry will be used to administer the draw and to send the Path & Pine Hideaways newsletter. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, though doing so before the draw takes place will void your entry for that draw. 8. G E N E R A L
– The promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, or suspend the prize draw in the event of unforeseen circumstances, with reasonable notice where possible.
– This promotion is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
– This promotion is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or administered by any social media platform.
