Absolutely loved our stay at Aileen!!! Directions were clear and it was easy to find. It was my first time staying in a tiny home and it was the cutest little house. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were fabulous. The nights were quiet and peaceful. We slept so well!! It was a short drive to the Highland Games, which is why we were there. The owners were on site when we arrived. They were so friendly and kind. Loved everything about our stay.

A fantastic stay with fantastic views! I would describe it as an excellent choice for a place to lounge back with wonderful Scottish views. Hosts were polite, friendly and very accommodating. Bonus points for the cafetiere! Also a very pleasant surprise to see dozens of rabbits and cows. 10/10

Lovely house. Very grateful to be told we could check in from 12 as cleaner had finished. In a quiet area but very close to shops and cafes. Lovely riverside walks. Love Ballater and would definitely come back to Dormie Cottage again

Dormie Cottage was a lovely base to explore the beautiful surroundings of Ballater. Spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The Scottish Tablet was a lovely welcome gift and the Welcome Book was a godsend. We would definitely recommend to others.

Our stay in Ballater was lovely, the accommodation worked well for 2 couples with plenty of room to relax and eat. Great high street with lots of independent shops which is rare these days. Well worth staying at the cottage and spending time in Ballater.

A beautiful cottage in a nice little village. We very much enjoyed the place, and we felt immediately like being at home, when we entered the cottage. Definitely a place to return to.
